Screened journalists to be questioned

Journalists who were illicitly screened by police are expected to be questioned in the foreseeable future, Interior Minister Denisa Saková (Smer-SD) said on Tuesday (May 7). "According to my information, procedural tasks are still being carried out under the supervision of a prosecutor," detailed Saková. In the case of the illicit screening of murdered journalist Ján Kuciak and other reporters, the Interior Ministry's Internal Affairs investigator launched a criminal investigation over the misuse of a public official's powers and the unauthorised handling of personal data.
