Brexit is not likely to cause any significant complications to bus transport, although in the event that Great Britain leaves the EU without a deal we should expect more extensive border checks that might lead to certain delays, according to Bus Transport Association spokesperson Eva Vozarová. The Ministry of Transport and Construction also conceded that certain complications and delays might emerge due to the re-introduction of border checks following a possible hard Brexit. "However, these are issues beyond our control, in terms of our actual powers, and we can only expect that there will be an effort to eliminate this to the highest possible extent," stated the ministry press department.
