One of the main topics of the talks between Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak and OSCE Secretary-General Thomas Greminger on Thursday was the OSCE's contribution scales. "Despite the fact that Slovakia inherited this agenda from its predecessors, as soon as we took over our responsibilities in January we took several unprecedented steps. We had to end the legal vacuum resulting from terminated contribution scales and prevent the collapse of the OSCE," stated Slovak Foreign Minister. Lajčák and Greminger also spoke about the situation in Ukraine, which is awaiting the second round of an important presidential election on April 21.
