Slovak parliamentary party Sme rodina (We are family), led by the controversial entrepreneur Boris Kollár, joined Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini's political project Europe of Nations and Freedom. The new bloc composed of Europe's far-right and populist parties hopes to be the largest in the European Parliament after the May European elections. Besides Salvini's Northern League, the bloc is composed of parties such as France's National Rally lead by Marine Le Pen, Poland's governing Law and Justice party or Hungary Prime Minister Viktor Orban's Fidesz party.
