Slovakia paid its second installment for F-16 aircraft in March, according the Finance Ministry's report on the state budget for last month. The amount of the payment is not publicly known at the moment. Slovakia will spend more than €1.6 billion on the aircrafts, including logistics support and the training of pilots and ground personnel in the United States, as well as for ammunition. Slovakia is buying 14 F-16 fighter jets overall, with the Americans to deliver the first four in 2022 and the remaining ten a year later.
