Several novelties are waiting for passengers flying from Bratislava's M.R. Štefánik Airport this summer. Along with the introduction of the summer flight schedule, the airport will be home to a new airline, Cyprus Airways, offering regular flights to Larnaka and Antalya, Turkey twice a day. According to Bratislava airport spokesperson Veronika Ševčíková, the summer flight schedule is taking effect along with the time change on Sunday (March 31). It will be valid until the next time change, namely until October 26 of this year. It brings 47 regular lines to 41 destinations in 18 countries. In addition, some 2,800 irregular charter flights, ordered by travel agencies to traditional summer resorts in Greece, Turkey, Egypt or Italy among others, are planned in this summer season between June and October.
