The number of internet shoppers buying at least one book online has risen from 26 percent in 2012 to 35 percent last year according to a survey performed by NMS Market Research and price-comparison website heureka.sk.
“Women in particular buy books online. As many as 47 percent of women surveyed who shopped online last year ordered a book on the internet. The respective ratio with men was 26 percent”, said NMS Market Research Chief Michal Osusky. The most enthusiastic readers who shop online are mostly between 21-30 years of age.
