Farmers continue in their protests

The Farmers' Initiative announced that it was continuing in its protests. As of Monday the initiative starts their protest ride on horses from the eastern Slovak village of Gyňov to Bratislava. Their aim is to call on Slovak citizens to sign a petition aiming to recall Agriculture Minister Gabriela Matečná. We handed the petition on March 21^st to the Government Office of the Slovak Republic together with the initiative 'My sme les' or 'We are forest' and with the foresters' challenge 'Odmietame' or 'We refuse'. The Farmers' Initiative criticizes Matečná for not respecting the decisions of courts and covering subvention frauds. Moreover, they are planning a protest in front of the Government Office on Friday.
