Only vaccinated children should be admitted to pre-school facilities in the future, stems from a new proposal from the Health Ministry. According to the Public Health Authority, the vaccination rate of the pediatric population has come below 95% in 2018, which is below the threshold needed to achieve the collective protection of the population. Therefore, the Ministry is coming up with a legislative proposal, which introduces changes in the area of admission of children to pre-school facilities based on their vaccination status, in order to protect the most vulnerable part of the population.
