Slovakia's pro-European orientation was high on the agenda of the discussion held by outgoing President Andrej Kiska and Slovaks living and working in Brussels on Monday, as part of a project called "From the Tatras to Schuman". "The European Union is an amazing project, but sometimes it's as if we forget to talk about this," the president said afterwards. He added that the participants in the discussion, many of whom work in EU institutions, have deep pro-European convictions, recognise the pros and cons, and none of them doubts what a great project the European Union is.
