A hard Brexit could reduce Slovakia's GDP by almost 0.3% in the long term. This stems from model calculations by the consultancy company Deloitte, according to which the Slovak economy would lose more than 200 million euros. "The Slovak economy will feel the impact of Brexit. In the variant without a deal, annual GDP would fall by 207 million euros and the revenues of Slovak companies by 529 million euros. In terms of specific sectors, Brexit will negatively affect in particular the automotive industry, but firms in other sectors of the processing industry would also feel lower sales, in real estate activity, transportation and other sectors," said Deloitte's chief economist Dávid Marek.
