The campaign for Saturday's election of the President of the Slovak Republic will end at midnight on Wednesday. Political advertising will be broadcast until midnight and the same deadline applies to giving financial support to candidates. The moratorium is valid until the end of the election day, with any activity for or against candidates being prohibited during it. This first round of the election is to take place on Saturday, March 16th, with the names of 13 candidates on the ballot. If none of them gains more than 50 percent of the vote, the top two candidates will compete against each other two weeks later.
