Successful weekend for Slovak sport

Slovak alpine skier Petra Vlhová won the World Cup giant slalom in Špindlerův Mlýn, the Czech Republic on Friday, defeating Viktoria Rebensburg of Germany and Mikaela Shiffrin of the United States of America. The 23-year-old Vlhova is enjoying her third triumph in the giant slalom, her ninth victory in the World Cup races and the fifth one this winter. On Saturday, she took bronze at the slalom event, behind Mikaela Shiffrin and Wendy Holdener. This was the first bronze medal for Vlhová in the ongoing World Cup season. Meanwhile at the biathlon world championships in Ostersund, Sweden, Slovakia's Anastasia Kuzmina won a gold medal in the sprint race. More about this victory in today's show.
