The Slovak Ministry of Defense will negotiate the acquisition of 17 new radar systems with France, Israel and the United States of America, according to SITA press agency. The Army will gradually acquire six pieces of medium, five pieces of small, and six pieces of short range radar systems, paying up to €155 million for them. The next stage will be bilateral negotiations with representatives of the three shortlisted countries. At the same time, the Slovak side will negotiate with relevant NATO agencies on the integration of 3D radar technology into alliance systems.
