According to data published by the Statistics Office, approximately 4.45 million people are eligible to vote in the first round of the upcoming presidential election. There will be around 17,500 first-time voters. The first round of the election will be held on March 16, with a possible second round - if no one is elected in the first one - slated to take place on March 30. The list of candidates in alphabetical order includes: Béla Bugár, Zuzana Čaputová, Martin Daňo, Štefan Harabin, Eduard Chmelar, Marian Kotleba, Milan Krajniak, František Mikloško, Maroš Šefčovič, Róbert Švec , Bohumila Tauchmannová, Juraj Zabojnik and Ivan Zuzula.
