Approximately 72 litres (or 144 large beers) per capita is consumed every year in Slovakia. The poll showed that Slovaks mostly choose classic alcoholic beer, with about three quarters of them drinking it at least once per week. Women more often (45 percent) go for 0.3 litres of draught beer in pubs, while more than three-quarters of men (84 percent) prefer half a litre.
