The priorities of the Slovak presidency of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and support for a peaceful solution in the decades-long conflict in the Nagorno-Karabakh region in Azerbaijan are the main topics of the meetings between the Azerbaijani top political representatives, President Ilham Alijev, Prime Minister Novruz Mammadov and Foreign Minister Elmar Mammaďarov with the Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajčák, who is the head of the OSCE during Slovakia's one-year presidency of the organization in 2019. Moreover, Slovak-Azerbaijani bilateral relations, political dialogue and business, economical and investment cooperation should also be discussed during Lajčák's two-day visit of the country.
