Exclusive RTVS poll: Čaputová leads ahead of Šefčovič

Zuzana Čaputová leads the race for the presidential palace with 23.5 percent of potential votes, followed by Maroš Šefčovič with 20.5 percent, according to an exclusive opinion poll carried out by Median agency for public broadcaster RTVS in the second week of February. Robert Mistrík came in third with 15 percent, but resigned from the presidential race in favour of Zuzana Čaputová on Tuesday. Former Justice Minister Štefan Harabin came in fourth with 10.5 percent, followed by far-right candidate Marian Kotleba with 7.5 percent and Béla Bugár (Most-Hid) with 6.5 percent. Opposition MP Milan Krajniak (Sme Rodina) received 5.5 percent. František Mikloško would have the support of 5 percent of respondents and Eduard Chmelar 3 percent. Martin Daňo Róbert Švec, Juraj Zábojník, Bohumila Tauchmannová and Ivan Zuzula would each get less than 1 percent of votes. RTVS is Radio Slovakia International's mother company.
