Bank analysts have reduced the estimate of this year's GDP growth to 3.8 percent, down from January's forecasted growth of 4 percent. This is the result of the February round of a regular survey performed by the Slovak Central Bank (NBS) among analysts of commercial banks. They have also toned down slightly their expectations regarding this year's inflation forecast and labour market developments. Estimates of inflation for this year declined to 2.4 percent with the unemployment rate expected to reach 6.2 percent.
