A moratorium on opinion polls regarding the presidential election will come into force on Saturday, March 2, wrote the Interior Ministry on its website. However, the ongoing presidential campaigns will not end on that day. It will continue until the end of March 13. After that, a two-day moratorium will come into force before the first round of the election. During this time, it will be forbidden to try to convince people to vote for a specific candidate. The first round will take place on March 16, with the public able to vote from 7 am. to 10 pm. If no candidate obtains over 50% of votes, there will be a second round. It is scheduled to take place on March 30. Another moratorium will come into force on March 28.
