The establishment of a Slovak Cultural and Information Centre in Jerusalem is entering its final stage, said Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini (Smer-SD) during his flight to Israel on Monday, adding that the centre should start operating in Israel under the auspices of the Culture Ministry in 2019. According to information from the Culture Ministry, a public contest for the post of head of the centre has already been completed, and suitable premises for the centre are already being sought. "It won't have the status of a diplomatic mission; it will be purely our cultural centre under the authority of the Culture Ministry," said Pellegrini.
