The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) has advised Slovakia to improve its education system for the transition to a digital economy, to support the business environment, and to focus on integrating the large Roma community into society. "In Slovakia, the rate of growth of labour productivity has decreased. The workforce is not sufficiently ready for a digital transformation. Slovakia needs to focus on more sophisticated production, and to allocate more money for R & D," said OECD Secretary General Ángel Gurría on Tuesday. He added that one-third of jobs in the country are greatly endangered by the automation of production.
