On Monday, a three day conference on military healthcare for the Visegrad four countries (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia) started in the central Slovak town of Liptovský Mikuláš. The very first edition of the event should look into the topics such as medical evacuation by air, the training of medical unit staff, the protection of units during deployment, or medical support for special operations. The conference hosts 61 foreign and 19 Slovak delegates from the field of military healthcare.
