Polish Senate Chair Stanislaw Karczewski has stated that he thinks recreational vouchers as implemented in Slovakia are an interesting idea, with Poland having something similar. As of January this year, companies in Slovakia will have to provide holiday vouchers as a benefit to employees who ask for it. The vouchers should cover 55 percent of eligible costs up to €275, and can be used only for holidays spent in Slovakia. Karczewski began his official visit to Slovakia with a skiing session in Tatranska Lomnica near the Polish-Slovak border with his Slovak counterpart Andrej Danko (Slovak National Party/SNS).
