Parliamentary Chairman Andrej Danko (SNS) will once again face an Opposition attempt to oust him from his post over the scandal involving his rigorous thesis. The Opposition headed by the Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) party has collected enough signatures needed for convening an extraordinary session to this effect. SaS wants to oust Danko because he copied most of his thesis and thus obtained his JUDr. title in a fraudulent manner. SaS handed over the signatures on Friday (January 25) and the session will then have to begin within seven days. The Opposition also attempted to oust Danko over the same issue in November.
