Slovakia will be represented at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, by Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini (Smer-SD) and Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak (a Smer-SD nominee). The prime minister will leave for Davos on Thursday (January 24), and the foreign affairs minister one day later. High on the agenda of the 49th annual meeting in Davos will be forming the global architecture in the period of the so-called fourth industrial revolution. The World Economic Forum is an independent international organisation for cooperation between the public and private sectors. It was founded in Geneva in 1971.
