Unemployment down in December

The registered unemployment rate went down in December to 5.04 % according to the Labour and Social Affairs Ministry. This figure represents a month-on-month decline by 0.05 percentage points and a year-on-year decline by 0.9 percentage points. The unemployment rate counted from the entire number of job applicants including those on sick leave and graduate internship reached 6.19%. This represents a year-on-year decline by 0.9 percentage points and 0.08 month-on-month.
