Kočner to be interrogated in the case of the preparation of another murder

The controversial entrepreneur Marián Kočner, who is currently in tightened custody in the so-called case of TV promissory notes, will be interviewed in the case of an alleged conspiracy to murder First Deputy Prosecutor-General Peter Šufliarsky. Over the past ten years, Šufliarsky met Kočner on several occasions, most of them unplanned, according to his statements at Wednesday's press conference. Kočner is one of the names mentioned in connection with ordering the murder of Ján Kuciak and Martina Kušnírová. On Tuesday, Šufliarsky lodged a motion to interrogate Kočner about ordering his murder. The Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Martin Glváč from SMER, was also meeting Kocner at social events. He denied any contacts with the accused Alena Zs. who worked for Kočner. His colleagues from SMER trust him so far. Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini told journalists on Wednesday that he is planning to personally talk to Martin Glváč and hear his explanation of the allegations.
