Viktória Kužmova is the only Slovak tennis player who has advanced to the second round of the singles competition at the Australian Open, the first Grand Slam tournament of the year. Her next opponent will be Ukraine's Jelina Svitolina on Thursday. All other Slovak tennis players left the court in Melbourne after defeat in the first round.
