The average nominal monthly salary grew year-on-year in November 2018 most significantly by 12% in information and communication activities and is almost at €2,100, wrote the SITA press agency on Monday, citing the Slovak statistical office. Other fields which ranked high in salary growth are restaurants (by 10.6% and reached €490), wholesale (9.6%; €1,134), retail (8.7%; €775) and accommodation (7.9%; €803). In construction, nominal salaries grew by 6.5% and reached €782 and industry saw a 5.4% growth to reach €1,319.
