The team investigating journalist Jan Kuciak's murder has split up, Police Corps president Milan Lucansky has stated. As he added, one part of the team would now deal exclusively with the murder, while the other part would work on the economic crime and corrupt practices Kuciak wrote about. Lucansky stated in a discussion for the TV broadcast of the Pravda daily that by dividing up the team they want to eliminate possible leaks of information. According to him, leaks could affect the quality and speed of the investigation as well as whether the case will be solved or not.
