A group of Slovak journalists from various media has set up the Ján Kuciak Investigative Centre (ICJK) aimed at creating a platform for cooperation between Slovak investigative journalists and their colleagues from abroad. The civil association, which was set up at the end of 2018, will be funded by donations and grants via a transparent bank account. Kuciak's brother Jozef will be a member of the ICJK supervisory board. The board of directors chairman and editor of the project is Arpad Soltesz, a former investigative journalist and commentator on noviny.sk website. The published stories will be available free of charge, and it will be possible to share them freely as well.
