As of January 1 of this year, people will no longer need to submit extracts from their criminal record to public authorities. State authorities will be able to retrieve them electronically. State authorities will connect to an integration platform to gain the necessary information. Municipal authorities will have access to this information too. Each request for an extract will be registered and archived so as to prevent the misuse of sensitive information.
