As part of the Human resources program conducted by the Labour, Social Affairs and Family Ministry, €280 million was earmarked for the integration of marginalized Roma communities, wrote the TASR press agency on Sunday. The money should be spend on building access to drinking water, waste management, construction of community centres, transfer housing, kindergartens and partly also school facilities. In order to look after public order in the segregated Roma communities, the Interior Ministry aims to introduce civic patrols. Moreover, the resort plans to create a network of community centres capable of solving social situations and helping with the upbringing of children.
