Air traffic controllers and technical staff of the state-operated company Letove Prevadzkove Sluzby joined the protest action of the European Transport Workers’ Federation on Thursday. They did not go on strike, but in order to express their protest they reduced Slovakia’s airspace capacity approximately by 50% in the morning hours.
