More than 90% of the EUR 15 billion allocated for Slovakia for the 2014-2020 programming period has been moved to calls for tenders, half has been contracted and 20% of the money has been paid out. The Deputy Prime Minister for investments and informatisation Richard Raši informed the TASR press agency about EU funds allocation for the period until the end of 2018. As he added, it is possible to finance projects until 2023. De-commitment of up to EUR 100 million might be real at the Education Ministry. Due to stopping the Operational Program Research and Innovation, the Ministry will not be able to use all the finances allocated for this year.
