Successful tests before nuclear plant extension

The electricity supplier Slovenské elektrárne started the warm hydrotest on the third block in the Mochovce nuclear plant, wrote the TASR press agency on Wednesday. Its aim was to check the functionality and safety of some systems and components. The test confirmed that all checked components were functioning well. The start of the operation of the third block of the Mochovce nuclear plant is scheduled for the second quarter of 2019. One year later another, fourth, block should start its operation.
