Comenius University among Top 300 in Social Sciences & Humanities

Comenius University has made it among the top 300 universities focusing on social sciences and the humanities in the global Round University Ranking, as the only Slovak university in the chart. The Bratislava-based University came 391^st overall in an index evaluating data from 761 leading universities. In the field of social sciences, the university has jumped up by 137 places. The world's best university in social sciences is Stanford University, followed by Oxford University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. When it comes to humanities, Comenius University was ranked 254th, notching up an improvement of 31 spots compared to last year. The first place went to Stanford University, ahead of University College London and Yale University.
