Slovak historian and writer Pavel Dvořák died on Friday at the age of 81. Pavel Dvořák was one of the most prominent authors of factual literature in Slovakia. He is the author of literary pretensions to popular TV and radio series. He became famous for his nine volume-long historical series on Slovakia, entitled Traces of the Past. He has written more than 20 books, thousands of articles, and has filmed about one hundred television films and radio broadcasts.
