The use of dynamic weighing systems with trucks should reduce the number of overloaded trucks on Slovak roads while subsequently reducing tax evasion. The Transport Ministry has been intensely preparing the introduction of this system for several months.
The e-toll system will thus interconnect as early as this year with automatic weighing instruments built into roads which should streamline not only the control of e-toll rules but also measures against tax evasion.
