Personnel audits across the entire state and public administration have been ordered, said Finance Minister Peter Kažimír at the weekend. "I believe that for the first time in history we'll be able to present the public with analyses on how the ministries work in terms of the number of employees and their salary conditions," he said. In October 2018, as part of the debate on the 2019 state budget, opposition Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) MP Eugen Jurzyca criticized the increasing number of people working in the state and public administration. According to him, it is good time to move people from the public administration to the private sector.
