The information reported by the media concerning the alleged questioning of Nitra entrepreneur Norbert Bodor in connection with the murders of Jan Kuciak and Martina Kusnirova is not "completely true", TASR learnt from the police on Thursday. "Concerning the published information, we believe that someone has forged the information in an attempt to obstruct the investigation, as it's not entirely based on the truth," said police spokesman Michal Slivka. He added that Police Corps President Milan Lucansky is set to adopt further measures to prevent leaks of any information from the ongoing investigation. The police was responding to the article published by the Dennik N daily in which it wrote that the National Criminal Agency (NAKA) had questioned Norbert Bodor, the son of the owner of the private security firm Bonul, in connection with the murders of investigative journalist Kuciak and his fiancée Kusnirova. Bodor's lawyer Eugen Cimmermann responded by saying that he strictly rejects "the media games played by Dennik N aimed at damaging the good name" of his client. Bodor has had nothing to do with the murders at all. "My client didn't have any information about the planned actions of the police and he is ready to provide maximum co-operation like any citizen of the Slovak Republic," he added.
