Industrial output posted a year-on-year increase of 1.2 percent in October, the Slovak Statistics Office reported on Tuesday. This was largely due to an increase in industrial production by 3.6 percent and a decline in supplies of electricity, gas, steam and air-conditioning of 12.6 percent along with a drop in mining and quarrying by 17.2 percent.
