Sunday was a good day for Slovak sport. Petra Vlhová finished 2nd in women's World Cup parallel slalom, in St. Moritz, Switzerland, beaten only by United States' Mikaela Shiffrin. It is already the third time this season, when the twenty-three-year-old Vlhová ended the second behind Shiffrin in races, whose points are counted in the World Cup in slalom. Meanwhile in Pokljuka, Slovenia, the Slovak biathlete Paulína Fialková won the 3rd place in 10km pursuit race.
