The "Friends of Cohesion" group have adopted a joint declaration during a meeting in Bratislava on November 28, regarding the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF), to keep agricultural and development spending at current levels after Brexit. Slovak Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini stated that the European Union's less wealthy member states are also willing to increase their contributions to the bloc's budget to ensure the development of the Cohesion and Common Agricultural Policies, while addressing new challenges, such as security, defence, climate change and migration.
