Firefighters have had their hands busy since the early hours of Friday morning with a blaze that erupted at a settlement close to the village of Richnava (Košice region), in which five people burnt to death. This was reported to TASR by Firefighter and Emergency Corps Presidium spokesperson Zuzana Farkašová on the same day. "The fire erupted before 3 a.m. and engulfed a four-room ground-floor house. Subsequently the roof collapsed in the flames. Following the arrival of firefighters, it was established that five burnt persons are at the premises, including four children," said Farkašová. According to TASR information, the firefighters are still attempting to get the blaze under control.
