The Parliamentary Health Committee did not approve the draft state budget for 2019, along with the draft state budgets for health care and the Health Care Surveillance Authority, the TASR press agency reports. Both the coalition and opposition MPs concurred that the budget's main problem is the distribution of funds to the three main health insurance companies. They think that the largest of them, the state-owned VšZP, would not have enough funds to cover its expenditure. Parliament will start discussing the entire 2019 state budget on Tuesday.
