Slovakia's Petra Vlhová ended 2nd in the challenging foggy World Cup slalom in Killington, Vermont, United States on Sunday. She was beaten by a .57 second margin by the phenomenal American Mikaela Shiffrin. Sweden's Frida Hansdotter came third. "I knew the second round would be hard and that I would have to fight. The weather was not perfect, the track was broken, but I am very excited about this second place because it was challenging as every race," said the 23-year-old Slovak. For Vlhová, it is the 14th podium rank of her career in a World Cup race.
