Almost 80% of Slovaks think the Euro currency is a good thing and only 10% less, almost 70%, claim that the Euro is also good for their country. This stems from a recent Eurobarometer survey, published by the European Commission on Tuesday. A high percentage of those in favour of the shared European currency could be found all over the EU, when almost 3/4 of EU citizens view it as a good project for the Union as a whole. The survey also included the question of the abolition of one- and two-cent euro coins. In favor of the cancellation of these coins is 73% of the Slovaks asked.
