Slovak skier Petra Vlhová ended second in the first women's World Cup slalom of the season in the Finnish ski resort of Levi at the weekend. She finished behind Mikaela Shiffrin of the United States by 0.58 seconds. Austrian Bernadette Schild came in third place, 0.79 seconds behind the winner. Vlhová ended on the podium in Levi for the third time in a row - last year she won the race, and came third two years ago. This is the thirteenth time she has taken a podium position at a World Cup race.
